არაWAR

Just 3 weeks back in cold and rainy Holland when war seems not unlikely in my beloved country Georgia.
As some of you may know, there are two separist regions in Georgia: Abkhazia and South-Ossetia. In the '90ties there have been wars, but since only some tensions. Unfortunately, after some fire-conflict between Georgia and South-Ossetia in the last few days, now Georgia is in full state of war: all reservists have been called and troops are re-called from Iraq. There have been several civilians being killed, bombs being dropped even on georgian territory and the troops in Iraq have being called back. Georgia is ready for war and the Russians are angry and troops/tanks have been send on to georgian territory. Ofcourse all for the sake of 'reinforcement'and with the claim Georgia have been guilty of ethnic cleansing in South Ossetia.
It is again a he said/he said conflict. Misha (Georgian President) stated on CNN that Russian troops have been ready at the border for months and they were already afraid the Russians would find a reason to attack Georgia. According to him Europe and the International world have to open their eyes to the human rights violations of the russians against georgians.
A lot of things are happening every minute, and I´m having troubles keeping up with them and writing this blog. I´ll be back with more info later on. Now I´m just very concerned with my friends who have to go to the army, because they´re reservists and friends who see their family members having to go to the conflict zones because they are in the army.

Sweet friends: I'm thinking of you and I am following every step!
